Back from the Dead...

Well... Not dead, per se. Just preoccupied with the various facets of my existence (not to mention managing two championship Fantasy Football Teams, and one losing one.) To save time, a brief photo montage:

Guess I would've had alot to write about had I dragged my aching limbs out of bed early enough :-)

I have been sick for the last week with a combination of undesirable symptoms that have limited both my social life and my half marathon training (EEP!!!) Of course, due to my stubborn perseverence and inability to sit still for lenghthy periods of time, I did accomplish a few things. I took the stallion I'm training (Maxamillion) on his first foxhunt (for those non-equestrians: stallions are generally too crazy to foxhunt). I also scored some sweet Jimmy Buffett tickets. W00T! Parrotheads Foreva'! I played in my first concert with the McLean Symphony Orchestra, where I had a rockin' xylophone part (Ginustera's "Estancia"). I went to see Avenue Q, where I learned essential moral values from Sesame Street puppets singing about racism, p0rn, and sucky lives. Today's stock market tip: "In volatile market, only stable investment is p0rn." Yesterday, I dragged my coughing self out to the barn to visit Max then had coffee with Mom and dinner with Michelle at Middleton Tavern (yummy!) in Annapolis. Buffett 2008 Max hunting.

Upcoming events:

1) Dinner at Fogo de Chao for Angie's birthday tonight- I'm not sure what a pescetarian consumes at a meat-infested Brazilian steakhouse, but I suspect it will involve a few Caipirinhas
2) Visiting Aunt Shelia in Greencastle, IN this weekend (yay for visiting cool relatives who for some reason find you fascinating). Unfortunately, I will have to fly into Indianapolis. I think I shall wear my Ravens gear. 3) Caps v. Pens Sunday with Scott. C-A-P-S, CAPS, CAPS, CAPS!!!
4) Hunt Ball weekend!! Where I will ride in two foxhunts and network with some of the most interesting people I have ever met.
In other news, I have been rather boring lately and am trying to decide on a random activity to spice things up. Current ideas:
1) Modern Pentathlon training (I emailed one of the Olympic coaches this morning)
2) Krav Maga (Israeli Fighting School)
3) Random hiking trip
4) Other suggestions
Your opinions would be greatly appreciated :-)
Farewell, Nicole :-/
